I think I have his pedals.
Found them at work one night, thought they seemed like his kinda thing but yet somehow managed to forget he'd been there that morning. Other bike tech reckons they're the pedals from Old Faithful so obviously I'd like to reunite pedal with owner if they are his. -
Out of interest, what makes you think they're his? (I know little of such pedals).

Who else would hacksaw bits off a set of spds? I thought they looked familiar and other bike tech is certain they used to be on old faithful in the transport museum. I guess I could pop into the transport museum and have a look see if it has any pedals fitted.

Yeah I had a wee google after I posted for images of the bike and saw that. I'm sure it was SPDs we fitted to the bike when he rode it at Thunderdrome. Can't remember what was fitted (if anything) when the bike arrived from the transport museum.
I've tweeted him. -
The Old Faithfuls at the museums are replicas made for the Flying Scot film with different parts to the original so perhaps not the best thing to go on...

I think his agent runs the twitter account. I think they are his pedals. He has had SPDs on his recent bikes.

Aye, just found the photo I took of him standing in the hire station just before he went on the track and it's these that are fitted so they're not what has been on the bike in the museum but still want to get them back to him.

It has just been pointed out to me that he is doing a talk at Ronde on the 24th. You could send them there addressed to him.
